     Hello, welcome to www.stewartnicholas.com.  I'm Stewart, I wanted to take a brief moment and let everyone know a little bit about what has been going on in my small corner of Northern New York State.  More specifically, with my artwork, and a little about current happening's around the Nicholas house.  Firstly, as can be seen in my biography, I spent 10 years in the United States Army and in that time became a Veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Korea.  As in all things however, that recently changed March 29, 2008, I decided that it was time to end my time in active military service, and pursue other endeavors.  Namely, pursue family matters, enjoy a tighter relationship with my church, and last but not least set my sights on starting my career as an artist rolling along again.  So with those being the goals, I started this page, made some connections, and as me and Cheyne have recently discovered, started down the road to fatherhood.  Cheyne and I found out we're pregnant a couple of weeks ago.  Congratulations to us!  Now thats out of the way, onto more important things that I'm sure you want to know. 

     Currently, due to my transitioning out of active service, I am building a portfolio and trying to get my name out to all of you.  As a result of that this page is my virtual showcase if you will, it has been relatively stagnant for a moment, but it's going to rapidly be changing, and I'm excited about that.  When I annouced, that for the first time in 10 years, I was going to seriously pursue art again, my efforts were well received.  I especially gained rapid support from my brothers and sisters at First Presbyterian, Mexico New York.  I'm now working closely with the Lead Vocalist for a small but growing music ministry outfit called Godspeed, out of Mexico New York.  Additionally, I have put in work with another local act called Milking Large Mammals.  Soon, very soon, I will be putting some of my personal work up.  Stay posted!  Thanks for stopping by.
